When Funbutler was founded in Sweden, the idea was to build something lean, scalable, and centralized. One office. One core team. But as the company has grown and entered new markets, that model has evolved.

This spring, Funbutler opened a dedicated sales and support office in Paris—a step that signals both long-term commitment and strategic focus on the French market.

“At first, we thought we could serve all markets from Sweden,” says CEO Andree Reutergard. “But Funbutler challenges the bigger, more established systems by delivering a better guest experience and clearly documented better impact on sales and results. In a competitive market, it’s not enough to have the best product—we also need to provide better service and be closer to our customers.”

The Paris office is located on Avenue Kléber, just off the Champs-Élysées, and is staffed by three senior team members: Jonas Ahlqvist, Marwane Lamari, and Antoine Bidault. All three bring deep experience from the world of entertainment technology and customer success. Their role is to support both new and existing clients—everything from family entertainment centers and trampoline parks to VR arenas and laser tag venues.

While Funbutler’s platform continues to evolve as a next-generation booking, POS, and marketing system, this expansion is not about software. It’s about relationships. Local presence builds trust. Speaking the language matters. And having someone on the ground who understands both the product and the business culture can often be the difference between good and great.

“The Paris office is just the beginning,” Reutergard adds. “This summer, we’ll also be opening in Spain, with a new office in Málaga, to strengthen our role in the fast-growing Southern European and Spanish-speaking market.”

As activity venues become more ambitious in how they operate, automate, and grow, Funbutler is moving with them—by being present, not just online, but in person.
